Typical of the Mediterranean basin, since the ancient times figs have been appreciated for their sweetness. Rich of vitamins and minerals, they have energising and lenitive proprieties.
Use it simply on a slice of bread or as ingredient for home made cakes and desserts. We suggest to pair it with both fresh and aged cheeses, in particular with provola, robiola di Roccaverano and baked ricotta.
