Renowed for their delicate and aromatic flavour, borettane onions are named after Boretto, a suburbs near the city of Reggio Emilia, Italy.

Rich in minerals, vitamins and essential oils, they have diuretic, depurative and anti-inflammatory properties.

Perfect as fancy appetizer or with meat courses, our onions are processed immediately after being picked, cooked slowly in balsamic vinegar and preserved in sunflowerseed oil and extra virgin olive oil, the perfect combination to keep vegetables without affecting or masking their original taste.

Fresh raw materials and a careful processing technique preserve the vegetables' organoleptic qualities, mouthfeel and fragrance.
